California Supreme Basketball is in it’s 15th year under the direction of founder Gary Franklin Sr. Our coaching staff consist of College graduates who have played basketball successfully at the next level: College, pro, and the international stage. Also, Collectively accounting for over 70 Years of coaching experience from the recreational and Division-1 level; sending players all over the country to compete at the Collegiate ranks as well as the pros both in the NBA and international. Our goal as an Elite program is to use the game of basketball to develop young men both on and off the court, and ultimately help aid these young men towards receiving a free College education.

SigningDay-33

The players selected to participate in our program were not asked to join the team simply based on their recognition as an elite athlete, but also on their individual academic standards, their participation in community service, and their common goals of achieving a free education earning a athletic scholarship. The average team GPA is well above a 3.0, with a number of our athletes having achieved scholar athlete awards for multiple years. Our players are microcosms of Southern California, speaking different languages fluently, complete diversity in cultures, and huge potential of being next level student athletes.

Our players commitment to themselves, the California Supreme Elite brand, and their families has built an expectation for sustaining academic standards, voluntary community service, and work ethic on the court shaping them into productive young men later on in life. We are seeking your support to benefit our annual program fees for the California Supreme Elite Youth Scholarship program, which sponsors a child excelling on and off the court that cannot afford the opportunity to showcase their abilities to earn a College Scholarship. Travel cost, tournament fees cost, coaches, and skills training. With your support we can continue to grow this great program and service the community.

Currently we have seventy five(75) players in our program annually. Close to fifty percent of those players are experiencing some type of hardship in their lives. These hardships include exposure to gangs, parents who have experienced financial hardship through job losses, or living at or below poverty level. These payers are unable to afford the travel, skills training, or uniform fees to participate in the program. As you are aware, athletic programs in schools are almost completely subsidized by parents or community fundraising. Our program provides a great opportunity for our players to succeed not only athletically, but academically towards receiving the ultimate goal of a free education and College scholarship.
